You fill and clean your field sprayer at a filling and cleaning area. The contaminated cleaning water is trapped and collected in a buffer tank. Any incidents, such as spills, overflows or foaming are now also collected. From the tank, the residual water is gradually distributed to a container with a biomix (organic active top soil from your own plot + chopped straw).

The micro-organisms that live in your agricultural land degrade the plant protection products organically, while the remaining water evaporates. Both processes, the microbiological degradation and the evaporation, form the “motor” of the innovative Phytobac concept. This motor runs free of charge for you.

HOW MUCH OF THE PHYTOBAC SYSTEM IS VISIBLE?

The filling and cleaning area, the container(s) of biomix and the buffer tank are the only visible parts of the system. The rest takes place silently and invisibly. This applies to both the sensor-controlled dripping of the residual liquids onto the biomix and to the function of the millions of small micro-organisms in the same mix.

    Drainage gully

    The drainage gully consists of a liquid-tight gully with a pre-mounted stainless-steel submersible pump and level floats. Through the gully, the drainage and/or feed water is pumped into the buffer tank.

    Phytobac® control unit

    The control unit provides automatic functioning of a Phytobac system: optimal degradation and evaporation conditions in the biomix. Including control and security of the pumps, reading of level switches and alarms. CE colour: meets EMC standards 2006/95/EC (EN 61000-6-1/3)

    Phytobac® buffer tank

    Our tank series is based on a simple and reliable design. The tank consists of an internal tank with a closed drip tray (external tank). The attached housing offers space for the control unit (module 3) and filter as well as other peripheral equipment (installation kit). The buffer tanks are delivered with a pre-mounted installation kit and control unit (module 3). The installation kit consists of the required pump, filter and valves.

    Sand trap

    The sand trap is placed between the drainage gully (module 1) and your filling/cleaning area. The trap is provided with a sand/dirt collection bucket, which is easy to empty.

    Two-way outlet

    With the two-way outlet, you can send run-off rainwater to a storage area, swale filter drain system or ditch and drainage water to the Phytobac. The two-way outlet is connected to your filling/cleaning area. The run-off direction is controlled with a lever. The feeder for the high-pressure sprayer is connected to the feeder for the outlet. The feeder is fitted with a timer switch.

CUSTOMER-SPECIFIC AND MODULAR SYSTEM

Agricultural businesses active in arable farming, vegetable growing, fruit growing and wine growing often have very diverse needs. The Beutech Agro modular systems can be adjusted to meet these different requirements and guarantee you an accurate location-specific and cost-effective configuration of your Phytobac system. You determine which of the following six modules you need at your business:

BIOBED

The liquid-tight container in which micro-organisms break down pesticide residues. This takes place according to the following steps;

  1. Binding
  2. Degradation
  3. Evaporation

DRAINAGE GULLY

Contaminated water from the cleaning area and excess drainage water from the substrate container flow into the drainage gully. This water is pumped into the buffer tank by a submersible pump.

CONTROL UNIT WITH SENSOR

The control unit with sensor automatically monitors the optimal moisture level in the biomix container and actively regulates the desired drip frequency.

BUFFER TANK WITH PUMP

In order to keep the biomix permanently at the optimal moisture level, the contaminated water is stored temporarily in the buffer tank. The tank is double-walled and equipped with a lockable housing in which the control unit is mounted.

SAND TRAP

The sand trap ensures that soil and dirt do not disrupt the correct functioning of the Phytobac system.

TWO-WAY OUTLET

The mechanical lever controls two water flows.

  • The position of the lever indicates the selected mode.
  • Contaminated water → Phytobac system buffer tank
  • Clean water → water reuse installations or surface water

CLEANING AREA

A cleaning area can be created using prefab concrete panels or using poured concrete.
